The first International Meeting on Atomic and Molecular Physics and Chemistry (IMAMPC) took place in Madrid, in 2010. Since then, the meeting has been held annually. In 2017 IMAMPC will be organized in the city of Toruń at Nicolaus Copernicus University. Toruń is also called the “Gothic pearl” since its Old Town, listed among the UNESCO World Heritage sites, is rich in precious medieval monuments.
The meeting is primarily dedicated to young researchers, in the early stage of their scientific careers. In particular, a considerable number of oral presentations will be given by Ph.D. students. The conference is focused mainly on atomic and molecular physics and chemistry (both experimental and theoretical). During the meeting many plenary lectures will be presented by world-class experts.
A direct knowledge and experience exchange between scientists in any age and stage creates a great opportunity for young researchers, Ph.D. students and students to establish a valuable collaboration with renowned scientific institutions. We hope that this meeting will be an unforgettable and fruitful experience regarding both scientific development and social life.
